Welcome to KLIA Premier Holdings, the investment holding company and the parent of a group of companies under the K.L.I.A flagship. We originally started as Kuala Lumpur International Airport Berhad (KLIA Berhad) in May 1993 a company incorporated under the Malaysian government’s Ministry of Finance, and we had only one mission: To develop the 10 x 10 km palm plantation area in Sepang into a world class airport with the first opening phase targeting 25 million passengers per annum. All this had to be delivered within the budget and the specified time frame. The airport was due to be opened in 1998.
A combination of clear leadership and strong commitment from the team were the main ingredients to ensure the delivery of the project within its specified constraints. With the airport a success, the government then made the decision to keep the team. For the years since the airport had opened, it has been recognized as one of the best in the world in terms of quality from the facilities available as well as quality of services. The team was called upon to continue to build on its expertise and contribute towards other large scale projects in Malaysia and bid to spread its wings beyond the country.

Hence with the government’s blessings, we privatised our expertise into a new corporate entity known as KLIA Consultancy Services in 1999, specialising in Project Management and Technical Consultancy services.
We have spread from being a company specialising in Project Management and Technical Consultancy Services into several other companies. Each of our subsidiary specialises in its own core business. As a group we engage in the following businesses; Project Management and Technical Consultancy, Project Strategic Planning, Education and Training, Construction, Trading and finally, Information Technology. The companies have gone beyond just ‘KLIA’ and Malaysia into the Asean region, Middle East as well as other parts of the world. From developing the airport, we had moved into dams, railroads, monorail, bridges, highways and roads, buildings, as well large ICT projects.
Our Vision is to be the leading provider and the household name in all the avenues that we venture. This we will achieve by delivering quality and cost effective services to all our clients globally and we will lead the way in using the state of the art technology to achieve the above in an innovative as well as environmental friendly manner. The management team is led by a small, capable and dynamic professionals of diverse background. This is followed by a sound and experienced technical staff. Included in our team are experienced architects, planners, civil and mechanical engineers, quantity surveyors, quality assurance controllers, information technology engineers, and accountants. Together the combination leads to the creation of a highly experienced and dynamic team that is responsive to meet all the clients needs.
